Our Story: A Commitment to Compassionate Care
The Hope Center for Healing and Health was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that everyone deserves access to quality care, no matter what their background, income, or life circumstances. It was founded on the belief that health and well-being are universal rights, not privileges reserved for a few.
Our journey began with a deep desire to make a difference — to meet clients where they are and offer a supportive, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. We understand that each person’s story is unique and so should be their path to wellness.
The Hope Center for Healing and Health, founded by Brian Killian, LMHC, CAP and Pamela Wiggins, LMHC in 2004, has been serving Pinellas County for over twenty years. Initially known as Briggins Counseling, LLC., we established our dedicated office on US HWY 19 North in Pinellas Park, Florida, in 2010, where we continue to reside. In 2018, we rebranded our practice to The Hope Center for Healing and Health to better reflect our commitment to bringing hope and healing. Our practice is renowned for its warm and encouraging ambiance, which fosters successful therapy.
Our mission has always been to support mental health, substance use clients, couples, and families, empowering them to become their best selves. Throughout our history, we have collaborated with the community, churches, supporting individuals who attend Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery, churches and halfway houses across the county. We are dedicated to making therapy affordable, ensuring that no one is left without help due to financial constraints.
