Mental Health Counseling in Pinellas Park

Life can feel heavy when depression, anxiety, trauma or grief won't let up. At The Hope Center for Healing and Health, you'll work one on one with Pamela Wiggins, MA, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor who has served Pinellas County since 2004. Sessions are in person at our Pinellas Park office, convenient to St. Petersburg, Largo, Seminole, Kenneth City and Clearwater, or by secure telehealth from anywhere in Florida.

What we help with

  • Depression and bipolar disorder
  • Anxiety, worry and stress management
  • PTSD and trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Anger management
  • Codependency and people-pleasing
  • Trouble with focus and feeling overwhelmed

A brain-informed approach

Mental health involves the mind, body, spirit and brain. Our counseling draws on what neuroscience teaches us about how the brain changes. Patterns that feel stuck can be rewired with the right tools and practice. We combine evidence-based therapy with practical skills for sleep, stress, mindfulness and daily habits, so the progress you make in session carries into the rest of your week.

Between sessions, clients can use our Between Sessions app for check-ins, goals, journaling and worksheets.

What to expect

Your first session is a 60-minute intake where we talk about what brought you in, what you want to change, and how we'll work toward it. Please complete your intake paperwork before that visit.

Ongoing sessions are 60 minutes, focused on your goals, at a pace that feels right to you.

Fees: $180 per session, private pay. We don't bill insurance, which keeps your care private and between you and your counselor. You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of your costs.
