The Hope Center for Healing and Health believes there are multiple casual and maintaining factors of mental health and relational problems. As mental health professionals we embrace the overwhelming field of research that supports the connection between poor nutrition, health problems and mental health issues. In taking a ‘holistic’ approach to mental health treatment, we believe the human body is a network of interconnected systems, understanding that the mind and body are not separate.
Effective mental health treatment has the importance of integrating healthy behavior practices such as: positive belief/thinking styles, resilient emotional balance, appreciation for life pleasures, mindfulness skills, optimum nutrition and physical health.
